Album: Matterface Cup and Veterans Cup 2008

The Matterface Cup was contested between hosts Central Division, Mid Division and North Division at Clayton on Sunday, 13 July 2008.

At the end of the day, Central Division proved worthy winners as they posted convincing wins against both Mid and North Divisions. North Division took the runners-up berth by beating Mid Division.

In the Veterans tournament, where there were a number of ladies playing who were in their 60s and 70s, West Division played a 24 over match, divided into 3 separate games of 8 overs each in recognition of the warm and at times hot sunshine, against opposition from North Division.

The day was a triumph for West Division who retained the cup, winning two out of the three games.
